"In This Together" Project Starting January 2021
Rural Community Network (RCN) will be offering anyone employed or volunteering in the fields of Good Relations, Community Development or Youth Work and operating in a rural setting across NI, a new training and support project called “In This Together”.
We particularly welcome anyone that often works alone and would benefit from additional support during the pandemic.
Over a series of online workshops (daytime and evening), RCN will create a safe space for the exploration of practice, support, knowledge and information sharing. Sessions will take the form of a series of web-based meetings, training and support sessions throughout January and February. All participants are free to engage in as little or as much of the project as they like. Choose which sessions best suit your own needs.
RCN is keen to support the self-care of those working to benefit rural communities as we understand this work can be a hugely stressful under current circumstances.
